Welded wire mesh is a method of reinforcing concrete using a mesh of high tensile steel bars which are resistance welded together
The bars used can be smooth, deformed or ribbed and are welded together using pressure and a high electrical current
The mesh is used as a substitution for the conventional method of reinforcement using loose bars tied together which is both time consuming and inaccurate
