Accurate Edge is approved by Whitfords, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PPG, to apply a complete range of their high-performance Xylan® and Xylar® coatings. We work closely with Whitfords to ensure adherence to their specifications and specific customer requirements, to continually improve our quality and application techniques. Xylan® coatings have a broad range of properties. Lubricants with the lowest-known coefficient of friction are combined with the newest high temperature resistant organic or Aqueous polymers to create Xylan® coatings. Together these ingredients form unique properties- Wide operating temperature range, from –195 C to +260 C. Excellent corrosion and chemical resistance. Excellent adhesion properties. Low coefficient of friction. Excellent wear resistance. Flexible curing schedule. Wide colour range. The result is a thin, continuous, protective barrier that resists galling, abrasion, corrosive environments, chemical resistance, dry film lubrication, wear resistance, torque control, non-stick and a wide range of low and high temperatures.
